Privacy Policy
MP Treasury Autofill browser extension
In short We store the details you enter so you can autofill treasury challans in one click. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads or third-party trackers, and nothing is shared except with the MP Treasury website you're already filling, and — only if you choose to create an account — our sync provider.
What the extension stores
Everything below is saved on your own device by default:
- Profiles — the depositor/firm details you enter (name, registration/TIN, address, PIN, mobile, email).
- Offices & favourites — saved offices, and your favourite Heads of Account / Operator Codes.
- Autofill log — a local history of challans you filled (amount, office, head of account, dates).
- Preferences — your theme and last-used screen.
Your account (needed to autofill)
You can set up your profiles, offices and favourites with no account — it's all stored on your own device. Autofilling needs a free account (email & password, or Google): signing in once online starts your 5-autofill trial and lets your data sync, and after that first sign-in autofill keeps working offline. When you sign in, we use Supabase to:
- store your login (Supabase handles and secures your password — we never see it in plain text);
- sync the data listed above across your signed-in devices;
- keep a small record of your plan, your autofill count, and a per-device identifier and label (e.g. your operating system name) so plan limits work.
Row-Level Security means your data can only ever be read or written by your own account.
Reference data (works without an account)
The extension needs the Treasury's own lists — districts, Operator Codes, Heads of Account — to fill a challan. Rather than have your browser scrape them from the Treasury site each time, we publish a single shared copy and the extension downloads it from Supabase when you tap Sync latest data, or when its copy is out of date.
- This list is public government reference data — it is identical for every user and contains nothing about you.
- The request happens whether or not you are signed in, and sends no personal data.
- Like any web request, it reveals your IP address and approximate time to our hosting provider. We do not use this to build a profile of you.
The challan data
When you click Autofill, the extension types your saved details into the form on mptreasury.gov.in — the same site you're submitting the challan to. It only runs on that site, and it does not send your form data to us or anyone else.
Payments
If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled by Razorpay on their own secure checkout. The extension and this website never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking.
- We do not read, modify, or inject anything into any website other than mptreasury.gov.in. The only other server the extension talks to is our own Supabase backend, for the sign-in, sync, and reference-data purposes described above.
Your control & deletion
- Clear your local data any time (Log → Clear Log, or remove/uninstall the extension).
- Remove a device from Account → Devices.
- Signing out removes this device's synced copy of your data once it has been safely saved to your account.
- To delete your synced account and all its data, email us at the address below. We action deletion requests within 30 days, after which your profiles, offices, log and usage records are permanently removed.
We keep your synced data for as long as your account exists, so it is there when you sign in on a new device.
